Finished getting the parts together and it's all installed minus mounting it. Total cost around $20 - $22. Total time to cut and fit about an hour. To me it's beats paying $70 for one from Steeda.

I used one brass fitting and three white nylon fittings that I painted black. The tubing is 3/8" fuel line and 5/8" heater hose.

A couple of other pics. The filter isn't mounted anywhere yet (need to fab up a bracket) but it's sits pretty good where it is with very little movement.

I couldn't find a 5/8 X 3/8 fitting coming out of the PCV so I used a 1/2 X 3/8 and sanded the threads off with a dremel and now fits like a glove.

It seems to be working fine after driving around for a couple of days. No leaks, a small amount of oil is in the canister and no oil past the canister.

Good cheap mod to do. Results are a cleaner intake and a little less chance of detonation.

I've thought about getting a nice catch can and chrome it or something, but just wasn't sure if I really needed it for the little amount I do drive the car. Looks good though Don!

Thanks. Check the hose that goes from your PCV back to the intake. If it's got oil you could use one.
