Ed, I thought you were smarter than to believe in this far right extremist propaganda? It's fine that you don't support Obama, but further spreading lies is just ridiculous.
The stuff that is kept under wraps is usually d a m ning or completely fabricated. Sometimes a little of both.
I say people should do more research on ACORN for themselves and not take what Mr. Kurtz says at face value.

It's not just coming from him. but, he is the one that they're trying to squelch.
He (Obama) has direct ties to ACORN. He has direct ties to Reid. He has direct ties to Rezko.
If he were a Republican, he would have been hung already.
I've typically voted Dem. This guy scares me. His VP is even worse.
I believe most elections are about voting for the lesser or 2 evils. There's no doubt in my mind who the lesser is in this election.
The whole Dem party has went to hell in a hand basket. Biden's ridin coat tails after sayin Obama wasn't fit.
I've research Obama's voting record in the senate on fact check. He voted NV over 1/2 the time.
There's no denying Obama's connection with ACORN as it's pretty well documented. Ayer's aside, Obama scares me.

The point of the election is to pick the one who's lies and deceptions will do the lest damage to the country. I belive that the Dems have done a great job covering up the bad desisions there part has done and continues to do. The Dems have destroyed our economy and blamed Bush. And continue to do what ever puts money in there pocket. They even spend millions of dollars to have there own Tv channel and talk show to help spin there side. When will enough be enough.

From CNN
"A subsidiary of the group was paid $800,000 by Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama's campaign to register voters for the 2008 primaries, and ACORN's political wing endorsed Obama back in February. But Obama's campaign told CNN that it "is committed to protecting the integrity of the voting process," and said it has not worked with ACORN during the general election."
So they dole out almost a million dollars and then walk away from what the groups is doing? No oversight?

Don't know if you guys know who ACORN is, but their office was in Vegas was raided last week by the FBI for VOTER REGISTRATION FRAUD.
Obama was their council for several years, defending them against such allegations.
I'll try to dig up more on this.

Well any military person that votes for Obama tomorrow is a MORON!!!!
Vote in a man that will end life time benefits for the military and all government jobs that is smart.
Our President is the one that we are supposed to trust in our military and I think that John McCain is ABSOLUTELY The Best Man for the Job.
Just my two cents

Some thought provoking material, along with a couple questions. Actually, an assumption, and a question.
First, I would assume most candidates use volunteers to knock on doors, do the foot work, etc. No? Almost seems like he's buying an election. OK, 2 assumptions.
Now the question; What will happen when those that expect a gubment check, do not get one?
Not trying to make this a racial thing, as just as many whites voted for him, and they are probably expecting their check as well.
One last comment. If he's screwing the people that directly got him elected, what should the rest of us expect?

Well, first, I wouldn't think of it as buying an election. You aren't paying 30$ per vote. You're paying workers to go canvas. An employment incentive program. People are hired for seasonal work all the time. And it's really just giving the money back to those that donated it. He received so much money that if he wanted to give some of it back to those who helped out in vital areas, I wouldn't blame him. Saying they don't get paid or never get paid is like having a volunteer fire department. Sure some are all volunteer, but some are staffed.
Second, On election day, didn't you all see how horribly unorganized people work? It's a business, and it's a business that was thrown together, probably, pretty unorganized. I hardly doubt timecards were kept accurately and some of those people *****ing in that article could be stretching the system to get MORE money than they deserve. Like we haven't seen that one before.
And we all know people are whiny beyond belief, if they don't get their money they'll sue.
It's the Democratic Party, Barack is the representative, that doesn't mean HE was personally in charge of the office in question. But it is fair, I'll assess, that the blame be given to him because the media doesn't have the name of the Chief of Staff of that office.

Reo Yes he had way too much money. But this money is not free money. He got that money from companies that he said he was going to tax higher and put restrictions on. HA! I would call that a pay off. Every dollar he got was another promise he made. And if you don't think so look it up it is public record. And I bet those who gave him the big bucks will reap a reward. Hum like big oil? It is really funny how now that the election is done he has backed off all that he said against big oil and said he and the government will take no action against them for the reaming the gave John Q public. This is 180 out from what he promised if elected. As I said before and will be saying for the next four years " Obama is a two faced Chicago politician who will smile and shack your hand while he stabs you in the back". He has not even server one day in office and already said screw you America I don't care what you need I will do what I want. Rant done

Well, I can't comment on your previous posts, because I can't watch the video. The bandwidth on my tether'd laptop doesn't provide me to watch videos :(
That being said, I agree on that opinion piece, ... kind of. But, there was an interview with the President of Iraq, Mr. Talibani, where he was laughing at the plan of pulling all the troops out. I say **** them. They're wasting our funds that we could be using on some bull**** here, and they're getting rich off of our suffering. And boo hoo, there security forces aren't ready. Well what the **** have they been doing over there all this time? You'd think security might just be a top priority. Republicans just want to stretch this war out as long as possible. I don't understand why, maybe they like having their neighbor out of town defending the country. Keeps the community quiet.

There are alot of reasons we don't pull out of IRAQ and we have helped that country out alot just like we have helped so many others. If we pull out now its more than likely IRAN will invade and take control and we will be in an even bigger mess. You can ask anyone who knows me I don't like spending 6 or 7 months in the gulf but i do support the fact that what we are doing is for a good reason. Since I am on this rant i really think Obama bin laden is going to screw the military over and try and down size us so instead of helping the military when you pull all the people out you hurt them cause now there isn't enough people or equipment to support anything. My rant over. Its gonna be a long 4 years.

I agree. For the most part people are afraid of the unknown. That's more human nature than anything.
Personally, I'm afraid for us as a whole, because I feel like the fact we elected him, based on "hope" says something about us as a nation.
It says we think he can "fix" things for us when he can't.
It says we believe he can do things he cannot.
It says we care less about his radical past (substance), and more about how he makes most of us feel warm and fuzzy (emotion).
It says we have empowered people to make a change they believe in, yet don't understand.
It says (whether we like it or not, whether you believe it or not) that many who voted for him did so because of his race. Whether they're black or white. I know whites that voted for him, because he WASN'T white.
It says, about us as a whole, we care less about someone's substance, and accomplishments, than we do about their charisma, and ability to stay cool under fire.
It says elections are more a popularity contest, than an appointing of a qualified individual.
We'll see how he fills his cabinet. He's already starting with Dems.

Reo Who decides when we come home? If you know politics then you know it is not the president. Yes he has a say but not final. And who controls the house ans Senate HUM could it be the DEM'S???? They have done great with the quick look over there stance so that no one sees them screw the country! It is sad when people in this country don't know how government works.

Afraid Yes I am! I can tell you why. The best example was during the election just before the first debate in a time of crisis Obama said he need to be on TV doing a debate instead of helping fix what is wrong and avoiding his JOB. How can we expect any better from him as president?
Now with all this being said I do have to respect Reo for standing up for what he believes in whether I believe in the same or not. And that in it's self is what makes this the greatest country in the world.

Why do we fight? Why are we in Iraq and why is it important to stay there. OUR FREEDOM. Something terrorist on Sept 11 and many times afterward have tired to take away from us. How quickly we forgot the thousands of people that died that day. And the many that have fought to keep us free including my own brother. And Christine Hanson a 2 1/2year old that died that day as well. How quickly we forget why we are there. It is not for oil! I think this video will remind you why we fight. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vSfYmBCzIOo&feature=related
