Okay, maybe a domestic site isn't the best place to post or ask about this, but...

Driving home from Carraba's when I ran into a 350z. My windows were up, couldn't tell if it had any mods, at this point (this point being me sitting here typing this) I assume it was stock.

Took off at about 60ish me being in third gear, and I got the jump but he reeled me back in. and was up by a car when we stopped at the top of third probably 90ish.

A couple playful jonts later, and I'm thinking... ****. Is this car this much of a dog or did I do something wrong? He was cool and all. He put on his flashers but I'll assume it was just to say good run as he was getting off the exit, not the ole ricer trick.

Gave him a nod and a wave and drove home to type this up. Is this typical racing a Z or was what?

I'm guessing it was a newer Z. They can run mid 13's @ 105 - 107mph stock.
My guess is it wasn't stock. I can't see one pulling on your top end. Unless the rpms in 3rd were to low.

Now quick delete this before anyone else sees it.

Just messing with ya. The newer ones will surprise you if your not ready for it. The manuals are running with A4 LS1's.

I have NO Problems with them..... as long as they do not have a Chevy small block with N02 .... then its another story.

That's what I was thinking. Sounds to me like there is another story to be told.

Now just something to think about. You are used to driving a 4th Gen. The newer Dodge's do not react the same as your old car. The cyber nanny in the computer is a real hold back on what that car can really do, and may have held you back. And that being said the 350's are no slouch ether.
