Trev, you know what I hate about you? The site you showed me gave me many tempting options to do to my car, and I don't want to do it... I must resist. Go away, Devil! :D

Well I guess thats a good thing, But Im not BS you when I say this. A Predator/CAI/180 T-Stat....WILL change your SRT8. Best money people spend.

I knew about the other stuff but the T-stat is throwing me for a loop. What's the stock one at and do the Hemi's run that hot?

The HEMIs DO run hot. But with a predator you can adjust the fan speed so a 170-80 T-stat help the car stay cooler under load. For the $22.95 its a amazing little product. And if you buy a predator IMO a T-stat should be bought.

I'm pretty certain my runs about 204-211 stock. That's just numbers I'm taking from my gut. But they sound about right. I REALLY REALLY want to do some modifications to this car, but I can't forget about the warranty.

Didn't know that. That's right around where the Mustangs run as well. Get some Water wetter from the parts store. It will drop your temps as well. Cruising low rpm I can be as low as 180 and around 4k I'm around 190-195.

that sounds wrong, your t-stat must not be working right.

A CAI/Predator/180 T-Stat WONT effect your warrenty. We have 1000s(literally) and I have NEVER heard of someone losing a warrany over it.

Unless he had an aftermarket temp guage he probably wouldn't know. The stock guage is total crap.

LOL your way too far North for me... I don't take to COLD weather and lots of snow.... Southern part of Virginia is about as far North as I care to go. As you can see I am well taken care of by Josh and Bruce as I bleed HHP...LOL
