The production GT-R was 1 second faster. Also, the Corvette is on production tires. I bet with a set of Hoosiers it would drop another 10 seconds :)

G O D D A M N. He wore that thing out in 7.5 minutes!!!! 130 through some corners. Slidin sideways through some corners. Thats a testament to what those cars can put up with from the factory. Nothing short of amazing!!!
I'm proud to be a GM fan!!

Just messing with ya Chris. That's why I put the popcorn there, to watch the fireworks.

If I'm not mistaken the GT-R was not on street tires. There was some speculation about that.

It's also pretty sweet that the ZR1 is rear wheel drive and while it does appear to be a beast I'm betting a LOT of that was tires.

All I can say is where do I apply for the driver's job

Just think what a pully swap, tune, and tires would do!

I was thinking pulley swap, long tube headers, tune and tires...

I imagine that with long tubes, pulley and tune this motor is capable of 800+ horsepower. I'm sure Ed will be one of the first to know. If he does get one I'll take a sick day to watch him tune it, or maybe I'll just be sitting in the corner drooling....
