this is a mazda by the way, not my car: 2000 Mazda 626 4cyl.
car was running fine, washed the engine bay and it wouldn't start,
water had fallen into the spark plug valley, pulled plugs out, they looked horrible and they were bosch plat's so i changed them out,
then car would start shake kinda bad then die, let it sit for 24 hrs, changed the wires out, now car starts idles perfect for a few minutes then dies, will start right back up but only run for a few seconds then die again.
with scan tool plugged in the first O2 sensor reads like .560 and the second reads .010
and if i keep the gas on it it will run but revs will go up and down and only to about 3500 rpms with pedal to the floor. I"m thinking the catalytic converter, but i'm not getting a code and it hadn't shown symptoms prior.
