Dyno tune, Round 1

Took the car down to get a Dyno Tune done on it today. Got some work done but the dyno machine wouldn't read the RPM's so we had to call it a day and agreed to try again later. We did get the distributor curved and put in some new metering rods in the carb but, we weren't able to get any good readings to see where we are and where to go next. Ed indicated that it was definitely running rich on oxygen (I think that's what he indicated) among other things but without the Dyno machine... well, you get the picture. So, while I do have some pics (and a vid) the car isn't done yet.

And just a little something I noticed, this is the first shop I've had the car at that actually put covers on the fenders before they worked on it. I had a good time, bunch of great guys working there and they explained a lot to me as to what they were doing and why. I enjoyed learning as I tried to stay out of there way. Thanks Ed, I really appreciated the education.

It did run better coming home, she's idling a little too low now, however, it does seem to be a steady idle now. I'll turn it up a bit this weekend. I also got to jerk the snot out of the suspension. Some of the roads to and from the shop were murder. Looks like what Matt and I did will hold up ;)
