Okay then, next thing. Fiero...

I need to finish that **** thing this summer! If I just put the Caddy computer in it with a purchased harness ($650) everything will plug and play with no problems - or I can do 1227730 GM Computer ($100) - Painless harness ($350) and TCI Trans Controller with paddle shifter ($1200).

This one is definitely a question of money versus cool points. Any thoughts?

Well, I'm being realistic here. Most likely unless I can find a 92 Camaro computer and prom I'll just use the cadillac computer. Its not sexy but it'll work and also control the tranny.

So, found a guy that can burn a prom for the 1227730 with the 305 program in it to fit in the 1227730 computer. $85.00

Painless wiring harness (new): about $350

TCI shift controller - http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=tci-377000 --

Only think left will be a few odds and ends :)

So, a little research and I've found a shop in Nevada that specializes in fuel injection and can set up a GM computer for use with a TPI type setup along with a 4T60e Tranny. I've been looking for almost a year for someone that can set this up and I finally found them today. Cost - $700 for a custom harness and $300 for a custom chip. For now I'm no longer planning to use the turbo due mostly to the complexity of getting it setup right now. I'll save that for later...

This setup uses a 16194427 PCM from a GM truck with a custom harness made by a shop in Arizona. (480-921-2500 , ask for Laton (the mad scientist).

In a month or so I'll be working on plumbing up the fuel, water, and other fluid lines. By septmeber I shoud be ready to fire it up. Wish me luck.

I'll post the info for the shop if anyone else is interested in this setup.
