the little 5 amp fuse for the IP Dimmer (the thing that lets you see your gauges at night) keeps blowing; I went thru a pack of 5 in a 17 minute drive. I have an all-stock interior, and the dash has never been pulled. Any ideas or suggestions?

Pull the dash.. LOL
Possible short on board or harness
try a 7.5 just to check if 7.5 works then bulbs could be the prob

check for a short on the switch, or see if any of the contacts could possibly be touching too.

yup, a long time ago I had an e-cutout switch wired into the light for the ash tray...welp, e-cutout valve burnt out on me a few months ago, but i left the switch sitting under the center consol. the screw-connector thingy on the wire had since worked it's way off the wire connection, causing the grounding. I pulled the switch assembly and capped the wires for the ash tray light, and now i can see my gauges at night again
