That happened a few weeks ago. 1 person died from this not from the crash.

But from a gun shot. There was a person that wanted to take the person hit by the cars to the hospital and HE got shot.

A sad and absolutely stupid day.

i don't know if any of you read the comments on youtube about the video, but after that and seeing who was involved and the area it was in, i have many personal thoughts on this, but being a mod, i'll keep them to myself. lets just say..

"stoopid is as stoopid does"...and it's spreading and giving all the rest of us car guys a bad name in the public's opinion.

As for safety sake, I can't understand why so many people were standing down track and in the street. Are people really THAT stupid.

Maybe be could get an 1/8th mile set up sometime at an air strip or something. That would be really great. I also wish the authorities would realize that there are always going to be races, if you give people someplace safe to do it everybody wins!
