i woudlnt expect a new camaro to be any less... look at the competition, the Charger SRT-8, Challenger... prices are getting higher here people. I wouldnt expect a Camaro to be comming out anything less than 35.. would you? it aint no Cobalt SS...

That's not even a dealer mark up. I hope the dealerships don't kill the new market that's coming.

It all depends on ho many they make. If they make only 500 camaros sure, the markup will be 100 grand. but if tey make as many camaros like they do the mustang, they will be cheap..

and i'm sorry to say, Gm will not stoop to the level of ford and make a HIGH number of camaros. aint going to happen... yeah they didnt sell in the late years, but sell them high, and the right people will buy them

That was part of the problem in the later years. They were priced to high. It really doesn't matter if GM makes 500 or 50,000 Challengers. It's a new debut and the dealer is going to want to get paid.

When the new Mustang GT's came out in '05 there was a mark up of right around $5k. Now think of a newly designed car that hasn't been produced in forever.

As far as the "Right people buying them". I'm hoping that it's not richer/older people that will never drive it. That's not the heritage of Challengers and Camaros.

Just my .02$

I'm getting older:pissed:

GM is currently looking at a wide price range (depending on options) for the new camaro. But as always you must pay to play, so the LS3 version will cost a bit more.

im thinking a v6 like $28k and an LS3 fully loaded(GPS, vert, SS) at about $45k max and any special edition as high as $50k

Good luck at getting a first year. I think it will be a mad rush to get them

I wouldn't buy a first year, incase of any bugs, and I'll just buy a slightly used one for wholesale 8months later :D
