Hello, I was invited by vafiero to join this forum from the Pennocks Fiero forum I am also apart of. (I'm not sure what his user name is here) 3 years ago I didn't know much about cars so I decide to buy a junker and teach myself. I bought, from a buddy, an 85 Fiero that didn't run. It was very frustrating at first but I joined the Fiero forum and the learning just took off. This is what my car looked like before:

And after:

I hope to learn as much here as I have at the Fiero forum. BTW: I even did the paint myself.

Jim

PS: The first time I started this thread I previewed it to look for errors. When I tried to return to the text, the thread was lost and I had to start over. Is that a glitch or did I do something wrong.

I'm gonna take a guess. He's Jazz (Chris) over here.

Welcome and nice work on your car thus far. Looks good.
Seems like there's always a project going on. So, you should learn plenty.

About having to restart the thread, not sure might have backed out one too many times.

Yes, there were several cars that had the 4cyl "Duke". I,m sure the Grand Am had it, and I believe the Chevy Citation had one. There are others, but without searching I can't recall the cars. I'd rather have a V-6 or an engine swap, but money does not allow for that right now. I believe "no money" is in the gearheads bill of rights.

I hate you now for saying that. j/k
That's why I started doing stuff myself instead of paying others to do it.
