Thought I might not be the only person interested in this. Autozone offers Limited Lifetime Warranty for Optispark...

I've replaced mine 3 or 4 times under warranty.

When I was doing mine I just went with an MSD opti unit. Much nicer peice.

I don't doubt that the MSD is probably better but likely it still has the same issues to a lesser degree. I like knowing that if my opti dies I can take it back and have a replacement in the same day without paying a dime or getting asked a single question. I originally bought it in 1999 and in 2007 they are still honoring the LLT warranty after 3 previous replacements.

Maybe if I put a sticker on the front of mine it will last longer :)

The MSD is a much better built unit and has better performance capabilities the opti them selves can last up to 200,000 miles with no probs.
