My '78 Firebird

This is my '78 Firebird Esprit that ive had since i was 16. I bought it from an old man who had it sitting in his backyard for 6 years. It originally came with a small black 350 chevy (yes it was a chevy motor in a pontiac) and a turbo 350 with 2.41 gears in a limited slip. It now has:

332 sbc (same motor, different stroke) bored .030 with a 327 crank
Edelbrock 600 carb
Edelbrock torker 2 with 2" carb spacer
headers
full exhuast with dual cutouts and 50 series delta flow flowmasters
1.6 roller rockers
ported out and polished heads (need alum.'s really)
built 700R4 with 2600 stall
4.10 eaton posi
SFC's
complete new suspension
Fiberglass fenders
Fiberglass 4" cowl hood

I can't even recall off the top of my head all the stuff ive done to this thing. The drive line is all new, interior is all new with autometer phantom gauges, new suspension, everything. Anways, the car has seen many different stages, so heres some pics.

Ran it once, blew the transmission i had on my 2-3 shift and smoked across the line for a stunning 15.3. Kinda funny though cause my buddy was in the other lane in his nitrous'd and pretty stout T-Bird and he was about 1.5 cars back when my tranny went.

I was born in Illinois, moved to AK when i was 4. Lived there ever since and I cant wait to go back for good when i get out of the navy.
