so i finally get a some time off to work on the 79. got a donor floor from arizona. went to my buddies house, cut the cancer out of the 79's floor, cut the pieces from the donor piece and mig'd them in. got it home yesterday afternoon and POR-15'd both sides. Pretty time consuming with the little 1/2" brush they provide. overall i'm happy. note to others using POR-15...WEAR LONG SLEEVES AND GLOVES..THE CRAP DOES NOT COME OFF ONCE DRIED. IT HAS TO WEAR OFF YOUR SKIN!!!!

spent yesterday putting the plugs in the floor and installing the undercarpet mat. what a pain that stuff is to work with (akin to cutting shingles with a butter knife). headed out to get the rca and power cables to pre-wire for stereo system today, then the new carpet, console and mouldings start going in. pics to come as my daughter took my sd camera card...
