it was modded, was a mms stage 2x heads, mms 229 cam and Trex cam, yank pt 4k stall, forged 347 ls1, all boltons... now its a bone stock 98 ls1 drivetrain, with headers, lid, gears, exhaust

I work for Raytheon during the week and also put in hours at Batteries Plus, mostly weekends.

actually it feels fairly quick, (but thats due to driving a grand prix for awhile) i really have no plans for this motor, but i do have 2 other motors still 1 iron and 1 aluminum.

thats cool, so when is she due....

not 100% sure but from what i was able to see, the pinion nut either broke or came off cause the yoke and driveshaft was hanging

Just curious, this is a '96 so it's had an LS motor transplant, which is a pretty serious mod in IMO versus the original LT1. Did you buy it with the LS motor already swapped in?

nope ive owned this car since 01, and since then its had 12-14 sets of wheels, 13-14 ring and pinions, stock lt1 w/6spd, lt1 w/ heads,cam, 4000 stalled a4, 01 ls1 drivetrain w/ heads cam 4k stalled a4, and now its just a stock 98 drivetrain.

ive done all the work myself on the LS1, but had some help doing stuff to the lt1 back in the day.

Still, an LS1 swap is pretty nice and a pretty trick mod. I just kept the old motor in mine but probably could have done the LS2 for what I put into it. Very nice ride...

actually the ls1's have their own trannys and the 6.0 is just the motor, however im not selling any of them at this time
