hahaha funny don. except from what i've been reading up on, the LS3 responds better than the 5.0 to bolt ons. I agree the stang has the edge in all the reviews based on the overall package, but then again, ford has had xx years to perfect it. give government motors a couple years to tweak the beast and see what happens, that is if the green ass tree huggers and keep their hands out of it......
Some of you may know I work in the automotive industry in fuel systems. I can tell you now that some things are coming down the pipeline from GM that are going to make the bowtie a pretty stout package. Some still in the rumor stage, but its possible there could be a turbocharger (or two) under the hood of the next generation Corvette. It is almost a DEFINITE that the LS3 variant of the future WILL have direct injection. The engine will likely be smaller, lighter, more responsive and possibly even make MORE power. With direct injection a really interesting thing is possible, you can inject fuel more than once during each combustion event, meaning the burn is more complete, less fuel is wasted and the combustion event is cooler. This also means that compression ratios can increase without knock problems. Sorry to hijack the thread with this info, just thought it was worth mentioning...

Funny, it is like how everyone is basically acting over at LS1Tech. They even joke about changing the name to 5.0Tech. The 5.0 responds very well to mods, and I think all the stuff from at least the 2010 models bolt right on the car. They got one into the 11's quick with suspension and minor bolt ons, 10's with the car stripped down, and now 9's on Nitrous. Only flaw in the Hitler Vid was the new Mustang does not have 412 RWHP, its 412 at the crank. Most of these are doing 360-370ish stock, still not bad, old Termie numbers.
