I'll answer these:

First, no X-Pipe, it's a Y-Pipe, I was under the car.

His stall is we think a 3600, from the guy who just rebuilt his tranny. The guy doesn't like big stalls, but he is an old school SBC/BBC guy and doesn't really understand that LSx's love bigger stalls.

The closest track to him is PRP aka Pittsburgh Raceway Park.

Even if this ends up being true, He bought his that way, I made mine the way it is with help from friends. I let him know this all the time.

However it is my fault he wanted a LSx F-Body.

I could explain what happened every run, but would just come off sounding as just a bunch of ricer excuses. Didn't have a good 2 days and 4 passes there. I can say at the moment our cars run identical. He's at the track now or on the way home and have been texting him. At the moment he has 1000 less DA than we had at Pinks, and he ran what my best at Pinks was. I can't wait to actually run him with the SS, whether it be at the track or the street.

I think a number of factors played into the numbers.

First the heat and humidity. Secondly I think we should have drooped the tire pressure lower to stop the wheel spin. and then there is just bad luck AKA mis shifts.

I believe the car is much faster than it ran at Pinks, but Rich needs more seat time in the car.

thats the point i was making, it's not always how fast the car is. there is always the driver error factor. so at any giving time you could have the faster car but opps one driver mistake and your beat.

I only missed a shift once, so I'm getting better. Wheel spin, different story. As for my brothers car being faster, it has the potential to be, but isn't yet. His car still needs a full tune, and eventually he'll want a bigger stall.

Today would be a perfect evening to head up to VMP for the Friday night street wars, but seems like a trip I don't want to take today. Unless more than 3 of us would want to go. Unless we want to do this next Friday. Of course Richmond I believe will have AED next Friday.

thanks everyone. my best track 12.01@115mph. nothing broke. my stall is a 3600. it needs tuned. My 9 inch is going in hopefully this week coming up. As for coming down prob wont be for some time. I was just down there for pinks all out to give my brother a hand and for the show.
