ok, so i know i might be pushing the limit on this one, but do you guys think it's possible to do a removable top on my car, not the whole top, um, kinda like the tops on the vette do? i wouldn't do it myself, i'm just asking if it's possible, almost like t-tops but with the whole center removed? just a idea bouncing around in my head....

yes, i believe he's talking about doing a Targa-top conversion. I've read about this conversion, and there's two main obstacles. 1) you have to cut the center bar in your roof, which is responsible for alot of the car's structural strength and 2) Fabricating the targa top that will sit/fit properly is a tricky process. That's all that's in your way, and if you can get passed those two problems, you're golden for an unique and awesome mod

As far as fit you will need a roof from a hardtop and te latches from a T-top car to make the top. Seals aer home made. A good subframe and roll cage will take care of support.
