View Full Version : ECD Summer Cruise - Colonial Parkway

Currently in the works is a summer cruise and bbq to be held in January. The cruise would be August 7th, 21st or 28th and would be on Colonial Parkway. There is some construction on the parkway currently so the route isn't selected yet. Current plans are the cruise would also include a ride on the ferry over to the Jamestown Colony (ferry is free) which would be a great opportunity to get a picture of a ferry full of American Muscle.

This is still in the planning stage so all suggestions will be considered.

I"m in if I'M in town on any of those dates....but it might be a tad cold for a BBQ in january.

7th or 28th for me. 21st is the Shriners show on woodlake drive in Chesapeake.

sounds great, im out of town on the 7th, Austin where is the Shriners show? 28th is good, my last day in my 30's...

The cruise would be free. If we move to BPS after we can hit the Nascar bar and skip the issues that sometimes arrise from BBQ's and such.

If we hit up the Nascar Bar I can see if we can get a discount again like we did with HRF.

Yea, I didnt like it there, no way to talk or socialize, there are some other places we can hit after the cruise, or NPN park is right there, pleanty of shade and parking, and can just do a cookout there, just my $.02.

Its at the corner of Woodlake drive and Lambert Ct. in the Greenbrier section. You turn down beside Adventure BMW( Bike dealer). I work at the end of Lambert Ct. so I'm gonna open the shop up so I have a nice cool place to shine her up before pulling in to the show. Your more than welcome Frank.

Would anyone be interest in getting shirts for this cruise. Cost will be about $10.00 each. No design is selected as yet.

There is a place near my work that does hats and shirts embroidered as well as INKJET printing for shirts on a printer. Full color for $5.00 each plus the shirt with no setup fees or minimum to buy.

Looks like the cruise is getting moved to 9/11/10 - More details to follow. Weather should be better and its a very good day to be in an American Muscle Car...

Looks like 9/11 cruise. Since it SHOULD be cooler, looks like we'll meet in Jamestown and drive back to Yorktown. Final details aren't complete, but we should have all the details worked out in another week or two.

Jazz, thats a BAD weekend to pick... Bay Days is that weekend and Frank and I are attending the Cars show and we are hoping to get East Coast Domestics.com to show up BIG!

yep, Tony's right... i was aked by part of the planning comittee for Bay Days a few months back to see if i could get our club to make a BIG showing this year, just happens that Tony's uncle Donny heads it up (we have met at my Church's show)... so i was hoping to roll in to bay days with some seriuos ECD MUSCLE ( and stickers?)... let me know what you guys think... i would love to do the cruise, take the wife shoot some pics... plus i don't remember 9/11 being on the vote? let me know what you guys think...

I didn't pick the day, so its still possible to change. Very likely however its set in stone at this point. I will say however that there is SOMETHING going on EVERY weekend and its not possible to really not have any dates that don't overlap with SOMETHING else.

so did you guys end up doing this cruise? lol i dont get it, a bbq 5 months after the cruise? it would be sweet to have a bunch of us cruise around.we should do one for the next show.if there's any left.

Yeah right after i posted this i went to the car show thread an saw pics. whoever has the video post it up i wanna see lol.An i just got My T/A back from VaSpeed today with a new centerforce 12" throwout an pilot bearing an Master cylinder.She shifts like butter now an i dont have to miss anymore meet n eats shows or track days.so we should do another meet n eat or cruise or something soon.
