I left last Saturday in the snow heading out Bradenton Fla to run in an LX Event. It sure was nice running in the "warm" weather down (54 degrees) in Bradenton.

I was one of the crazy one or two dudes that chose to run in TWO classes N/A and Unlimited.

I went to this event exhaust deleted... man talk about being loud... my head is still ringing from sound of open headers...

I made my first pass N/A with a pretty decent 1.50 60 ft ending with a
11.21@118 a tad slower mph then I am usually but ok.

I then decided to proceed to hook up my giggle juice bottle for the FIRST TIME. I had never done this before and had yet to make a pass with Juice. So this was my VIRGIN run. I made sure it was angled correctly... now I remembered that I was suppose to be at least 950psi but the announcement that we only had a few minutes left in test and tune before qualifying runs was to start so I thought what the heck... even though I was sitting at 700psi

I staged all the time talking sweetly to my transmission.... I love ya baby you been good to me....

The result:

1.42 60 ft 10.88 @ 121 New best 60 ft new PB on 150 shot

Then I remembered .... oh dummy you forgot to change the tune... I ran with my street N/A tune. Whew... good thing I had 110 octane fuel in my tank.

I run out yank the bottle out... purge the N2O run back to the staging lanes for the N/A quals.

Wow I had a pretty good run to qualify #1 1.45 60 ft 11.06 @ 117.

Good as I got a bye for the first round. I can now attempt to run qualifications for the unlimited.

I run over to to the unlimited staging lanes as the N/A class starts their first round runs...
I figured I was good to go. In my haste to run the unlimited class I forgot the GOLDEN RULE whenever you get a BYE. YOU MUST STAGE. Once you stage.. you do not have to run.. you can back out. Well not running is the same as DNF so Whomever was going to run me in the second round... got a automatic bye... LOL

So any way I make my qualification run on giggle juice with the right tune. Still sitting @ 750 PSI

Anyway to make a long story short... I make it into the second round and have to face my own racing partner in his TT Challenger.

Still not running the juice at the right pressure. As I attempted to use the bottle heater but found out that it drained the heck out of my battery and when I attempted to start it... it was dead. So again making runs with the bottle sitting at about 700-750lbs ... not where I should be... Really showing my total lack of understanding about running on juice....LOL

The run was good for a 1.48 60ft 10.776 @ 124.05 a better PB but in a losing effort...

All in all it was fun... I ended up in 4th place...my two racing partners ended up 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Not sure how long the link will remain but it is showing my inaugural\virgin\first time on juice run.

Nice run. Once you get use to the gas it should fly.

Flying for sure. Just remember if you're going to have the bottle heater on to do it with the car running.

Thanks !

We were halfway to Richmond Dragway but it got canceled so we uturned and headed to Hertford.

LOL I only got 3 runs in as my 4th attempt they had to push my car out off the track....

Seems there was a bad Karma or something going down the pits were at as the car next to us blew his engine.... then my partner in the Twin Turbo Challenger blew his halfshaft on his first launch. I then get up there and my rear locks and sends my transmission into limp mode so at first thought I had also broken my halfshaft.

Anyway the other challenger that was having traction issues so we figured enough was enough and called it a day. We will be heading to VMP on Saturday and may hit Hertford on Sunday.

I actually had the bottle pressure at 1000 psi the two times I used it :D
