I am getting rid of my Camaro. It’s a 1972 Camaro RS/SS350. It is an original Z27 code car. The motor only has about 50 miles on it. It’s a 350. Bad news is that it was knocking. I will be pulling the top end off. I have a good set of heads that go with it. They were on the car not long ago and it ran fine. Before it started knocking. It has a 350 Turbo transmission with 373’s and a limited slip unit, jegs 2200 stall, B&M shifter and more . The body and interior need work. I have a set of nice seats I have been putting in. I’ve had the car about 10 years and done a lot of work and collected a lot of parts. Everything goes.
The picture was taken about 2 or 3 months ago. It was painted about 5 years ago, but has 2 small rust spots on the roof. I will consider leaving the top end on for the right car/$. The current heads are 906 casting Vortec heads with 2.02/160’s that just came from the machine shop.
I want to trade my car for a mid to late 80’s or early 90’s (3rd generation) Z28 or IROC. I would like a 350, 5 speed car with t-tops. A 305 would be considered if the car is nice. The 5 speed is optional, but would be a big plus. I am not looking for a race car just something in good shape with a few extra’s. If you’re looking to buy the price is $5500 I would rather find a nice trade.
