Picking this up tomorrow.

Tired of trying to fix my K&N tube so I'll be getting this setup. I have read that there have been some fitment issues but I've also read that it can be adjusted to fit well. I'll get some pics up this weekend hopefully.

Sweet! So you don't like to look like you can't drive a stick when the K&N fall off anymore?

Too much weight!!

Picked it up today. I think I'll light sand some of it and paint it red.

Yeah, It sucks when the old one comes out.

Got it assembled and put in this afternoon. I snapped a couple of pictures that I'll post a little later.

My initial thoughts:

1. Assembly is very easy, even Travis could do it. (Sorry, you were online)

2. Fitment, take the biggest tubing you could stuff in the engine bay
and there you have it. It's SUPER tight and needs a lot of adjusting to
get it in there but it's not horrible.

3. The plastic heat shield is something that needs improving, very flimsy
doesn't seem to fit well. I'll recheck after a drive and some more
adjustment to see if it works better.

Everything that I have seen and read points to JLT giving the best gains over all the rest of CAI/RAI out there. Stay tuned.

Got issues now. The car threw some codes, P2272, P0171 and P0174.

P0171 and P0174, I am thinking a dirty MAF. The P2272, I am thinking I burnt up an O2 sensor.

I love troubleshooting.
