View Full Version : New Motor -- LT1
So, I'm hearing some noise in my bottom end. Tired of messing around so I'm building a new motor.
I am shooting for 340-350 rwhp. I am considering my options, but will either have LE1's or a basic home bowl blend (gasket match) and a new cam in either case.
Stock bottom end and stock compression.
Time to bring out some bigger guns. Want to make sure I'm packing a bigger stick in 2009 by the time summer comes.

Yeah, going with Magnum. I'm going to have them do my port work too. Also going with a mild cam. Details below...

i'd still go a custom cam, same money and matches your build better.
I'm actually considering a custom cam now. Its only a little bit more money. I've thought about the Hot Cam but there doesn't seem to be a lot of people supporting that either.
I'm definitely interested in doing a cam though, stock just won't do. I've already talked to Comp Cam and Lunati. I really considered the CC305. Anyone got any other cam thoughts.
BTW: Magnum Machine is doing my heads...

the cc503 is a good cam, you should give Lloyd elliot a call and have him spec you a cam. stay away from the hotcam. thats what i had in mine, but there is much better cams than that available.
