Last weekend while coming back from Mexico. We did a couple runs.
I was asked if 30mph start would be good. I was thinking :D and replied sure. 30 puts me right in the start of my power (2nd gear).
1st two runs were about a 30mph roll. 3 honks and I grab a quick 1 - 1 1/2 cars. Took it to the top of third (100ish) still up about 1 - 1 1/2. I couldn't tell if I was pulling or if the Charger was coming up.
3rd run was about a 50 - 55mph start. Me in 3rd gear (too high for 2nd), I knew I was dead. 3rd honk and the Charger was pulling like a freight train. Too many cars to count.
Mods:
SRT8, stock.
Me, bolt on's and some weight reduction. Making about 310 to the wheels.

If that charger would have been able to take off from thirty he might have been able to keep up. As is, it was from closer to 40 and that is no place for an SRT to start.
Good runs though. I'd do it again in a second, win or lose.

Didn't realize it was that high.
Absolutely, I wouldn't mind seeing what the tune did for you too.

Would you believe it if I told you I haven't got on the car since that tune was installed? Between the flu-ish-ness and the ****ty weather, in drive at 60 it rides the same :D
And in those first runs, I felt like I might have been coming back, but I couldn't tell if you let off or not. I assumed that was the case.

Nope I wouldn't believe you for a second.
The pedal didn't come off the floor until I stopped. So you probably were pulling some.
Yeah Mexico, we took a road trip.

You realize a STOCK SRT8 at the very least pulls 370 to the wheel. If the SRT8 "Driver" knew what he was doing...well ... I will leave it at that...LOL
You can always try me ?:D ;)

In the Charger defense, I'm about 700 - 800 pounds lighter.
I'll run ya once I get 100 horse. :)

Man! My car put down 346 on the dyno that day. I don't know where you've been hearing 370.

Ujokin ? Either it was just a cold cold day and the correction factor knocked it down but that is a mighty low number unless it was done on a Mustang dyno...and not a dynojet.
Then again I am begining to hate these dyno numbers myself...as I have 3 different numbers on my car and I have not changed a thing...

I'm not a "dyno guy" but is it possible for it to be "too cold" to dyno a car? It was probably high 30's low 40's.

I would agree that 346 is way too low.. and ED would know if temo was a factor

Over on the Charger forums, a guy posted about his SRT8 dynoing 340's. Apparently it happens.
