good weekend runs

well we had a little gathering this weekend, 3 z38's, 1 gto and one mach 1. we all have about the same mods, full exhaust and bolt on's. well we all agree to a low roll (we all have crappy tires) 2 z's and the gto line up. from a 20 mph my brothers stalled z gets the jump and the gto is at his door and the other z needing a driver mod misses 3rd and falls behind. i get home and i run the winner. from a 20 we both hit, i get a 1/2 car right away and continue pulling till i stop about 2 1/2 cars ahead. then the mach 1 shows up and lines up with the gto. i was driving the mach. we both get on it and when the car hit the 1-2 shift it kicked out enough to freak me out, i let off. we went again and the gto got me by 1 car. we kept running all night with the same out comes, it was great. next weekend is going to get intresting, my brother is filling his bottle this time(150 wet) and our other friend is pulling his H/C 490-ish hp, stalled and geared z28 and this time i'll have my camera fully charged

What kind of H/C on a LS1 is making 490 at the wheels? I'd really like to know.

and yes mach is an auto, he is part of the mach forum, madtracker is his name, it is sweeeet, he got an offer to trade it for an 03' cobra with 8,000 miles, but he turned it down

well we didn't run this weekend, but the 490 hp to the crank heads and cam z28 came buy. i got word that gto is going to spray his ls2 soon. i'm going to run the h/c z28 this from a dig (loss for me) and a 55mph roll, that may give me a chance since he is an auto with a stall, 3,200 if i'm correct. i should have video... if i remember
